Amazing staff made our stay

The location was perfect, being just a short walk from the city center with various restaurants nearby. The staff were responsive.

We encountered issues with road closures upon arrival, causing delays. The room was warm, and while the beds were comfortable, the air conditioning needed improvement for better cooling.

The environment is good, room is clean and large.

We enjoyed our breakfast, everyone finds something there.

Comfortable beds make for a decent night's sleep.

Upon arrival, we faced local road closures with no prior communication from the hotel, causing us to sit and wait outside the city for over two hours. The Superior Double room was disappointingly small and uncomfortably warm, and the air conditioning barely worked, forcing us to open the window for some relief. Breakfast was a letdown. The staff seemed overwhelmed and inattentive, leaving us without hot milk and a functioning coffee machine.

The staff returned our child's lost light. Rooms are conveniently near the city center, though the bathrooms need attention. 😊

Nothing especially grabs me about the place. It's just a hotel and fits the purpose. Four stars is probably about right but I have seen better in the same bracket. Good location if you need to be in the middle of town. The garage parking is quite convenient but forget any ideas about avoiding this cost by parking on the street as almost everywhere close by is a 'Blue Zone' and if you are lucky enough to find a space near the hotel, it will probably cost more than the hotel parking facility. Breakfast was ok if a bit limited on choices. I was expecting some sort of grand room with loads of stuff bubbling away on hot plates but the room was only about 15 tables and a couple of cold buffet counters plus a coffee department. Perhaps there's a more comprehensive setup for busier times.

The only thing I dislike isn't necessarily the fault of the hotel but it does quite clearly state on 'Booked.net' that Wi-Fi is free in all areas. It is true that, you can pick up the hotel (LAN) landing/login page in a wireless fashion but to access the Internet requires a payment of 8.50€ for 24 hours (correct on 02/10/2012). The hotel smoking policy is a bit strange and as a smoker I was slightly uncomfortable with the arrangement. I booked with a smoking preference but on inspection of the allocated room, I found no ashtrays or evidence of smoking. I returned to reception explaining I had requested a smoking room and was then handed an ashtray with an explanation something along the lines of; "there you are sir, now you have a smoking room". I enquired further and was told that, by default all the rooms are non smoking until someone like me asks for an ashtray. I can imagine this approach will almost certainly cause some dissatisfaction for non smoking clients. I hope these points are some use. Location - but we thought Ciudad Real was a very dull city with a lot of modern buildings. I would return to the hotel - if in a different city

Consider using the microwave available during breakfast for a warmer meal option.

Wi-Fi works slow as hell

The location was central, good in the centre of the town. The staff was nice, excellent service. Had the standard room and it was lovely with comfortable beds.

Location stood out with shops and restaurants just a stroll away. My room, a Superior Double, showcased clean and modern design with comfortable beds. The secure underground parking added a layer of convenience, despite being a bit pricey at 15€ per night. This meant the coffee machine ran out and hot milk wasn't available for some time. Opening the window was necessary to cool off the room as the air conditioning struggled. I also missed having tea or coffee options available in my room. Despite being disappointed by some details, I appreciated the charm and accessibility of the hotel.

Location: the hotel was near to Ciudad Real on a whim-what a lovely surprise, and restaurant. I tried some drinks at wine bar Miami Gastro, located 10 minutes walk away. The breakfast was incredibly nice, a good choice of outstanding food.

The room was cozy, but I found stains on the sheets.

Great Location with Friendly Staff

The location was excellent, right near the city center with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. Everyone was super helpful, especially the receptionist who offered great local dining recommendations. One thing I'd suggest improving is the room's air conditioning. It struggled a bit to keep the space cool during warmer days.
